As a sculptor and scholar, I work with a reductive sculptural and architectural vocabulary to explore a visually critical thought process, one that integrates intellectual knowledge with lived experience.
My work is very subtle, grounded in a dense materiality: all wood was once a tree, steel references the industrial revolution, color is inherent and applied. The visual integrity of multiple levels reads as layers of form and content to heighten the paradoxes between the logical, the perceptual and the poetic.
This method of building enables my work to seamlessly co-join intervals between idea and actuality within the sculptural concepts of Space and Time.
